Top 5 Senior Supplements For Cognitive Function Support

7/7/2020

Over 70 million Americans are enjoying their senior years. Some level of cognitive decline affects many aging people. However, there are many things that can be done to slow and even prevent damage to important brain functions. Seniors that take a proactive stance on their own aging can expect to reduce the symptoms of cognitive decline.

Through healthy living, including a balanced diet and exercise, seniors can improve their chances of maintaining a healthy brain well into their retirement years. Your brain needs fuel to maintain cell regeneration and circulation in the same way as the rest of the systems in your body.

Adding quality supplements like the blends from Plant Therapy can help you to provide your brain with the nutrients that it needs to stay healthy and at its top performance. Let’s take a look at the top 5 supplements for senior cognitive function support.

Vitamin B1

Vitamin B1, also known as Thiamine can be lacking in seniors that aren’t getting the right nutrients in their diet. A Thiamine deficiency can be connected to brain issues like Alzheimer’s, dementia and Korsakoff Syndrome. You can get the B1 nutrients that you need from most high-quality multivitamins that are specifically designed for seniors. If you need to increase your levels, talk to your doctor about adding a Thiamine supplement to your regular diet.

Magnesium

Magnesium plays an important role in breaking down your dietary nutrients and getting them to the areas of your body where they are needed. A lack of magnesium in your diet can lead to a lack of circulation. When your brain isn’t getting the right amount of nutrient-rich blood, it can lead to personality changes including memory loss and confusion. A regular magnesium supplement can help you to increase your memory and cognitive function by improving the breakdown of vital dietary nutrients.

Vitamin E

Free radical cells in the brain that are left unchecked can contribute to the breakdown of cognitive function. Vitamin E contains important antioxidants that search for and destroy these free radical cells across your body, including your brain. Regular Vitamin E supplements with a minimum dose of 15mg that are taken daily have shown to help improve overall brain health and fight the early signs of dementia.

Calcium

Many seniors, especially women, already take a Calcium supplement to help keep their bones strong and fight off issues like Osteoporosis. However, if you are not getting enough Calcium in your regular diet then you may be missing out on many of the powerful brain benefits. Calcium has been shown to regulate healthy cell regeneration in the brain. Calcium supplements should be taken with food so that the nutrients can be properly broken down in the digestive tract for the most benefit to your brain function.

Zinc

Seniors that want to increase their daily Zinc intake should be adding a daily supplement of at least 40mg. Eating a healthy diet that includes dairy, nuts and shellfish. If you aren’t getting enough zinc in your diet it can affect the efficiency of the neurotransmitters in your brain. This can lead to a breakdown in cognitive function.

Getting older comes with many pitfalls and areas of physical decline. To keep your brain in the best health it’s important to make sure that you are getting the right nutrients and adopting a healthier lifestyle to help you get the most out of your golden years.

It's a very painful way to learn, but without pain, the old saying is, there's no gain".

Self-care is important

Regardless of our age, we all should be aware of the importance of self-care. We only get one body, so we must do our best to take care of it. By modeling these behaviors to your grandchild, they will understand the importance of being healthy. Drinking water, exercising daily, brushing our teeth are all examples of this. You might even try showing them some relaxation techniques, such as yoga and meditation!

Be responsible

Being responsible means being aware of the world. The "cost of things," and how we can prepare ourselves for our future. For example, you might explain the importance of insurance, like this mutual of omaha medicare supplement plan f, or how to save up for their own home. You might also consider teaching them how to take care of their personal belongings, such as doing the washing and packing their own bag.

Being honest isn't always easy, especially when you don't want to hurt those around you. However, children can pick up on your cues, and it's hard to teach them to be honest if you aren't yourself. Things to Remember When Buying a Classic Car

6/24/2020

Buying a car is a big step in your life, and this is something you need to be careful about. There is a lot to consider here, and you have to think about what it takes to find the right vehicle to suit your needs right now. The good news for you these days is that there are a lot of factors that play a part in allowing you to get this right, and it’s something that is going to have a stark impact on your life.

Try to do as much as possible to look for the right car for you, and choosing a classic car is definitely something to consider. These are more accessible than ever, and they have so much more character and personality than modern vehicles. If you are in the market for a classic car there are a few things you need to keep in mind, and these are some of the main considerations you need to make if you’re in the market for a classic vehicle.

You Won’t Make Money on It

One of the key things you are going to need to keep in mind when it comes to purchasing a classic car is the fact that you aren’t going to make money on it. These cars have a very poor resale value, so if you were wanting to buy one, do it up, and sell it on, this is something you have to keep in mind. Now that’s not to say it’s impossible to make a decent profit flipping classic cars, but it is very difficult and this is something you have to understand. Of course, most people looking to buy classic cars will be doing so for their own personal collection, rather than trying to make money from them. But this is something you are going to need to keep in mind as much as possible when shopping around for a car.

Set Yourself a Budget

When you are shopping for a car, you need to think about setting yourself a budget to work with. This is something that plays a massive part in the process, and you are going to need to set a realistic and affordable budget that you need to work with. There are so many things you are going to want to factor in when it comes to setting a car budget. If you can get this right, you will be well-placed to find an affordable and enjoyable classic car. You could even buy second-hand and visit auctions in order to find classic cars for a cut price as much as you can. This is really important for helping you to get the best out of the process moving forward as much as possible.

Research Thoroughly

Something else that you need to keep in mind when you are looking to find the ultimate classic car is to do thorough research. There are a lot of things that play a part in this, and you have to make sure you are focused on taking things to the next stage. Narrow down your options and have a list of a few of the cars that interest you. Research them and find out about their reliability, servicing, and user experiences. Buying pre-owned is almost always the way forward with classic cars, but you need to know they’ve been taken care of and used properly so that you can be sure you are buying something you can depend on.

Consider Auctions

How Much Work Needs Doing?

Another aspect of buying a classic car that you need to keep in mind is the fact that the classic car might need work doing to it. A lot of people buy classic cars because they like the idea of a fixer upper, and this is something that you need to bear in mind. If you are someone who likes to work on cars and derives enjoyment from improving and repairing vehicles, then buying a battered classic car to do up would be perfect for you. However, this is not for everyone, so you need to know what you’re letting yourself in for before you actually decide to buy a classic car.

You’ll Need to Inspect It

Inspecting the vehicle before buying it is also something hugely important. When you buy any car, you want to make sure you take it out for a test drive before you actually spend money on it. And this is something that you need to focus on as much as possible moving forward. You need a test drive, you should pop the hood and take a look underneath, you should examine the bodywork in the daylight to get an idea of the condition of the vehicle. Check that the car is properly registered and that everything is legal and above board, and check the VIN number as well.

Sorting Out Insurance

Car insurance is a legal requirement, and something you need to make sure you sort out before you get behind the wheel and drive your vehicle. Driving without insurance can land you in hot water in a big way, so don’t even consider it. One of the key things you need to do is to make sure you sort out the right insurance. This means you should check out classic car insurance companies, and try to make the right decisions here to help you find the best premiums. Now, you might expect to pay a little more for insurance on a classic car, but this is all about doing what you can to find the right insurance that covers you as much as you need.

Buying the ultimate classic car is an amazing way of taking your life to the next level and getting the car of your dreams. You just have to make sure you are safe and sensible, and that you do the right amount of research before you actually settle on choosing the car you want. This is something that plays a massive part in helping you to make the right choice right now.

The Most Common Injuries In Seniors

6/18/2020

Picture

The Baby Boomer generation makes up more than 22% of the total U.S. population from Charlottesville to San Diego. As the more than 73 million seniors continue to navigate their way through their retirement years, they are the most at-risk group for injury in and out of the home.

Most seniors hold on tightly to their own independence and the ability to live on their own. However, with the heightened risk of injury with seniors living alone, the risks can be overwhelming. A natural physical and mental decline is inevitable for us all, meaning that at some point many family members try to encourage their senior relatives to give up their independent lives.

Nearly 1 in 3 seniors will end up with some sort of injury that requires medical treatment. Whether from a fall or an accident inside their homes, seniors are at greater risk of injury than any other sector of the population. Slip and fall injuries can be devastating and may require long term medical care. Seniors, along with their supporting family members, need to be aware of the most common senior injuries so they can do their part to prevent the worst from happening.

Car Accidents

Seniors are among the most cautious and experienced drivers on the road. However, they are also one of the largest groups to be involved in accidents. With over 44 million seniors living independently and driving on a daily basis, that poses a high risk for all drivers. Seniors are more prone to have decreased visual abilities and slower reaction times, making them more likely to be involved in a crash.

Hip Fracture

According to a Charlottesville Personal Injury Law Office, slip and fall accidents are the number one cause of injury in seniors. As we age, our balance, sight, and strength is often diminished. This can make it very hard to navigate through the world. Uneven or slippery surfaces like waxed floors, uneven pavement, or a lack of path lighting can often be a recipe for seniors to take a tumble.

Our bone structure can become brittle as we age. Slip and falls often result in our bodies landing hard on the hip joints, causing them to fracture. The recovery from such a dramatic injury can be long and arduous and for many seniors, it can mean a total loss of independence.

Burns

Seniors that live independently are especially at risk in the kitchen. Seniors that enjoy cooking for themselves are in danger of burns or scalding injuries. As the memory fades, seniors are also more likely to leave burners or ovens on, putting them at risk.

For seniors that smoke, there is a high risk of burning or starting an unintentional fire. The risk of dangerous smoke inhalation in a house fire or the ability to be able to evacuate the home can be deadly.

Head Trauma

When seniors fall, they often don’t have the strength in their arms and wrists to help break their landing. In some cases, older seniors may not have quick enough reflexes to protect themselves from the worst impact. This often results in head injuries as the skull is unprotected during the fall. Head injuries can be anywhere from mild to life-threatening.

Although many seniors enjoy a healthy independent lifestyle, they are still at higher risk than other sectors of the population to become injured in or out of the home. Consider these common injuries and review your safety procedures today to help the seniors in your life to stay safe and injury-free.

When you are past the prime of life, caring for yourself is all there is to do. Many seniors find themselves struggling to live a happy and comfortable life without exceeding their budget. This article provides useful tips to live within your means without giving up much of what you need in your old age.

1. Use senior citizen discounts.

There are several senior citizen discounts you can use to minimize your retirement expenses and spare some money for other activities. You just need to identify the stores in your area that offer these discounts and familiarize yourself with their qualification prerequisites. Age requirements may vary depending on your location and the store you choose.
Standard senior discounts include:
  • Restaurant discounts
  • Retail discounts
  • Grocery store discounts
  • Hotel discounts
  • Car rental discounts
  • Airline discounts
Always carry your ID when seeking senior discounts, as some stores ask for proof of age.

2. Hire an in-home caregiver

Care homes can be pretty costly. If you don’t need 24/7 care, seeking in-home care services may be a more economical solution. Companies such as Husky Senior Care that specialize in in-home care have multiple service packages for seniors with various needs. The three most common types of in-home care are:
  • Skilled care
  • Home health care
  • Non-medical care
Non-medical care is for seniors who are looking for assistance with cooking, cleaning, transportation, personal hygiene, and laundry. Home health caregivers provide medical aid to seniors in their homes.

3. Work from home

Just because you are retired doesn’t mean you can’t work. If you are in perfect health and have the energy to do something you are good at for pay, why not go for it?

Working from home is gaining more popularity by the day, and some companies have started setting aside job slots specifically for seniors. Whether you want to generate more income or stay active, part-time work is worth considering.

Retirement jobs for seniors include online marketing, freelancing, tutoring, writing and editing, direct selling, telemarketing, and medical transcription.

4. Use public transportation

Some of the abilities and skills needed for driving may diminish as you grow old. Some seniors may not be comfortable driving themselves, while others can’t afford to maintain personal cars.

Fortunately, public transportation is way easier for the elderly these days. You can book a ride by installing a ridesharing app on your smartphone or use Google maps to view public transportation routes in your locality.

5. Invest in your health

Staying healthy not only guarantees you a happier life but also saves you a fortune in medical bills. Older adults are more vulnerable to health issues than their younger counterparts. Most pensioners use the bulk of their retirement income on hospital appointments and medication with little else to support their daily lives.
Subscribing to a gym and enrolling in online cooking programs are some of the best ways to invest in your health.

Conclusion

It is everyone’s dream to lead a stress-free life in their twilight years. The above tips can help you achieve happiness, good health, and comfort without exhausting your retirement savings.

Dealing with Chronic Pain While Travelling Abroad on Your Retirement

6/16/2020

Picture
As we age, it is inevitable for us to feel aches and pains. It is part of getting old. But it should not be an excuse to stay at home and waste your retirement years. There are ways on how you can deal with chronic pain even when you travel abroad. Here are some of them:

See a Pain Relief Doctor

If you are planning to make an overseas journey, the first thing that you have to do is to set a schedule at a pain relief center like Seattle Pain Relief to see whether you are fit to travel. Your doctors may require you to complete some tests to understand your overall health.

They would also be the best ones to advise you on pain relief methods that you can do while you are away. As a precaution, you can also book an appointment after your return to get a thorough check-up.

Bring Your Medications

If you get the clearance to travel, you should make sure you have all the necessary medications for your symptoms. Since you are going on foreign land, there are chances that the particular brand of pain medication you would need may not be available.

Stock up on pain relief. Besides medications, you can also bring other things to alleviate your pain, such as massage creams and oils. Don’t forget to bring your prescription in case you need to buy medicines while traveling.

Stay Positive

One of the most overlooked pain management plans is having a positive mental state. Once you condition your body to respond to pain proactively, there is better management of pain symptoms. When you are traveling, please don’t force it. If you are tired, sit down. If you feel pain, allow it to subside before continuing your tour.
Get Exercising

Get Exercising

Prepare for your travel by doing exercises at home at least a few weeks before your trip. The movements allow your body to prepare for the long walks that you may need to endure when you travel. You can ask your doctor about what type of exercises you can do that would not exacerbate your pain. Do the exercises gradually, so you don’t strain your body.

Pack Your Most Comfortable Shoes

When you are going on a tour, you can expect to do a lot of walking. For this, you need to ensure that you would not worry about any additional pain, such as sore feet. Pack comfortable walking shoes. If you haven’t yet, invest in a pair. Your feet will thank you later. Break-in your shoes before packing it for your trip so the shoe will adjust to your feet and gait.

Avail a Massage Therapy

For some people, they choose to get a massage therapy after their trip. For seniors, it is best to avail of massage therapy during their travel. This way, they can get the assurance that they would be revitalized each day they spend on their tour. Sparing an hour for a massage would make the whole experience an unforgettable one.

Get a Travel Insurance

Perhaps one of the most important things that you should have when you travel abroad is your travel insurance. You can also choose to avail of a supplemental policy for your Medicare to make sure that you still have coverage even when you are away.
Dealing with chronic pain can be stressful since it can limit the activities that you can do. Always remember, however, that there is a way to work around it. You cannot spend your retirement thinking about “what could have been.”

Across the globe, many individuals choose to move abroad when it's time to retire. However, it can be confusing deciding where exactly you want to go. With many unique destinations, full of beauty and nature, the possibilities are endless. In this article, we'll take a look at seven of the top locations for retired expats.

Panama

Panama is undoubtedly one of the most well-known locations that many expats flock to every year. Located in Central America near Costa Rica, the land is filled with white sand beaches and lush mountain tops.
Panama has one of the lowest costs of living in the world, which is why many people choose to retire there. With cheap real estate, food, and entertainment, you'll have access to everything that you desire. It's also known for its incredibly affordable health care system, with some insurance plans covering up to 70% of medical expenses.

Spain

Spain's diverse geography makes it one of the most popular destinations for retirees that love a bit of adventure. You could be enjoying the markets in a bustling city one day, and relaxing seaside with a cocktail the next. It's the largest country in Southern Europe and is full of friendly locals.
While the cost of living in Spain isn't as cheap as others, it is still reasonable. You can enjoy fresh seafood from coastal locations, and because of its warm climate, there is an extensive range of delicious fruit and vegetable options.
Healthcare is both public and private; however, it can be expensive. Your Visa will outline if you are eligible for public healthcare, as there are different residency types.

Thailand

If you want affordable massages, manicures, and pedicures, then retiring abroad in Thailand is the way to go! With incredible street food and bustling markets, there's no wonder it's such as popular destination.
It's cheap cost of living, means many couples choose to retire earlier, as they can afford everything they need. With Machu Picchu and a part of the Amazon Rainforest, it can be considered one of the world's most beautiful destinations. Again, it has a more affordable cost of living, but it depends on where you choose to relocate. For example, an apartment in Lima will cost more than if you were to travel just 20 minutes out of the city.
One of the downfalls of this beautiful country is its healthcare system, and it can take months to make an appointment. Many individuals opt for private insurance, as the public system doesn't always provide the best of care.

Portugal

If you're after an affordable destination, with all the luxuries of home. Portugal is your way to go. While the costs of living are rising, it's still currently much lower than the UK and the US. Malaysia

Malaysia is a Southeast Asian Country and is home to some of the most incredible beaches in the world. With your choice of bustling cities and quaint towns, you can live about your days talking to locals and enjoying delicious street food.
HealthCare is of high quality and affordable, with many doctors training overseas in the UK and Australia. With cheap prescriptions and extensive checkups, it may just have one of the world's best systems.

Mexico

Located in Southern North America, Mexico is a popular choice for retirees as it is full of expats and is close to the US. While many people are worried about the current crime rates, there are some locations that are beautiful and safe; you just need to know where to look.
HealthCare is reasonable, but real estate is even better! Most individuals can live comfortably in a two-bedroom apartment for around $900, while still enjoying all that life has to offer.

While you still have a tough decision ahead of you, remember that you've got this! Whether you enjoy relaxing on a sunny beach or skiing on snowy mountain tops, there is so much diversity in the world I'm sure you will find it. Good luck, and most importantly, have fun! After all of your hard work you deserve it.

Pay attention to your health

You can fully enjoy your life when you are healthy. Though some medical conditions are inevitable while you get old, you can always try to avoid serious diseases which result from unhealthy lifestyles. Technological advancement has made our lives more reliable on chemical and artificial supplements. But nature is still the best remedy. Try to avoid processed food and supplements. According to Naturazi, nature can help in remission of many diseases and improve health without any side effects.

Always stay conscious of your health by doing an annual full-body medical check-up. Staying active, eating healthy and regular exercise are the main points for staying healthy and enjoying your life.

Try to stay Serene

Your mental health is also vital alongside your physical health. Try to stay away from things that give you stress, cut off toxic relationships. Plan things so that you don't get caught up and stress yourself. Think yourself, young! A right mental attitude can reverse the adverse effects of aging. People are more likely to get depressed after retirement because of the sudden changes in the whole routine. Taking retirement too quickly can have adverse effects. You have to stay engaged with your family and friends, .mend the emotional bonds with your loved ones. As you have more time in retirement, doing too much or doing too little can lead to anxiety, depression, insomnia, memory impairment, appetite loss. The solution can be anything that means something to you personally, like volunteering once a week, taking up a class, or launching a new career. It's a plus if it's social work because research shows that social engagement is essential as both physical and mental health exercise. The important thing is to find an activity that draws you in and you out. Whether it's the family matter or social work, please don't take it too easy or too hard. A moderate amount of stress can light up our brain activity and improve focus, but too much of it is harmful.

However, despite your efforts to stay peaceful, if you have some psychological condition, be quick to get professional help.

Be curious about your surroundings and take care of your relationships

Your loved ones can be the source of support and peace if relationships with them are maintained with care. If you are married, try to enjoy your marital life in new ways. Mend, the bonds that were torn by your busy schedule.

Keeping a curious mind will help you to engage with others and learn a lot of new exciting matters about how the world works.

The Summary of all this is to be mindful of your resources (your time, asset, family & friends). Keep yourself busy with all the useful things, but make sure to enjoy yourself. Give time to the things vital for you, but make time to do the things you enjoy. Plan vacations and trips once in a while. Be flexible; if things don't go as planned, don't stress yourself too much. Try to adapt to the changes. Hoping these tips will help you to live a beautiful life after retirement.

CBD for Seniors: Why should we give our grandparents CBD?

5/13/2020

If your elderly are genuinely looking to maintain their best quality life possible, then you might want to recommend CBD oil. Given its promising effects and, practically free of negative side effects, Cannabidiol regulates many processes and substances inside the body by way of the human endocannabinoid system all the way through the brain, muscles, and organs.

Very much like our smart technologies, our body continually monitors everything going on under the skin. Functions like internal temperature, heartbeat, hormones, hunger, and even hydration levels must be adjusted continuously. The process called homeostasis uses the cannabinoid system to make these changes around your body. Simply put, your systems consist of receptors and cannabinoids linking nearly every part of your body with organs, brain, and muscles. Thus, start sweating, which means you are hot, your stomach growls, that means you are hungry, or something troubles you.

So, what’s CBD’s role? The endocannabinoid system preserves homeostasis in humans for essential processes involving appetite, energy, memory, emotional development, and immunity. Here, CBD acts as a trainer for our endocannabinoid receptors, ensuring they function correctly. It is worth knowing that unlike many other medications suggested for receptor interaction, CBD does not produce any side-effects.

CBD Works Wonders for Glaucoma

Known as a group of eye conditions which damages the optic nerve, Glaucoma is detrimental for vision in elders. This damage is often triggered but an abnormally high pressure in the eye. Moreover, Glaucoma is known as one of the leading causes of blindness in people over the age of 60. Indeed, it can occur at any age, but this condition is more common in older adults.

Numerous studies have shown that CBD works wonders in seniors with Glaucoma. Similar to its psychoactive neighbour THC, CBD is the non-psychoactive compound in the cannabis plant that can decrease intraocular pressure. As you know already, high IoP is the leading cause of Glaucoma, a neurodegenerative disease that causes deterioration of the neurons within the eye, damaging the communication with the brain.

CBD has been shown to decrease high pressure in the eye up to 25%, providing elders a much-needed relief, slowing down the degenerative process. Moreover, CBD can treat ocular pain experienced by some of the patients with Glaucoma, making it an ideal solution for those seeking long-term and instant relief.

CBD is Decelerating Alzheimer’s and Dementia

There is no steady evidence showing that CBD products can stop or prevent the progression of Alzheimer’s. However, CBD’s promising effects have proved highly effective in treating some of the most common behavioral diseases, such as agitation, mood swings, and aggression.

However, CBD can do way much more than decreasing the inflammation of the neural tissue characteristic of dementia. Cannabinoids serve as a natural shield for your neuron and even helps them eliminate toxic proteins that trigger the damage associated with Alzheimer’s disease.

In combination with its neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory properties, CBD may help decelerate the advancement of Alzheimer’s. Thus, if you or someone close to you has Alzheimer’s or dementia, ingesting CBD oil as prescribed can impede the illness as well as treat the psychological outcomes often experienced by people living with dementia.

Online suppliers like Organic CBD Nugs has a lot of variations of high-quality hemp flowers and pure cannabidiol based products that could help your loved one lead a better quality of life in their remaining days.

Alleviates Arthritis

Arthritis is highly prevalent in the U.S alone, as 23% of the adult population experience arthritis pain. As you know, Arthritis refers to more than 100 conditions and diseases that attack the joints, including osteoarthritis, lupus, rheumatoid Arthritis, and gout.

One of the many studies published in journal Pain in December 2017 analyzed the curios effects of CBD in connection to osteoarthritis pain and joint neuropathy. Grounded on their findings, medical experts confirmed that CBD could do both as it decreases joint inflammation and serves as a shield for the nerves.

CBD goes strictly to the source, by treating the inflammation, reducing the disease effects, and easing the pain it causes. Additionally, to its curios effects on pain, CBD acts like a very strong analgesic as it alters the way we perceive pain while attacking the cause. Cannabinoid products for arthritis pain can be either taken orally or can be applied as a cream on the joints and muscles in the cause.

Curbs Cardiovascular Disease

As CBD has been found highly useful in treating the inflammation of the blood vessels, more people suffering from cardiovascular disease and abnormal blood pressure started to rely on its immediate effects. CBD reduces the risk of stroke and heart attack over time, as well as lowering the blood pressure.

The cannabinoid may reduce the inflammation in the lungs and may provide you with positive effects on the cardiopulmonary system. Moreover, CBD can also decrease inflammation in the brain after a stroke and hasten rehabilitation and recovery.

How to find the right dose for seniors?

When it comes to finding the right dose for our elders, one must take into consideration that CBD is not much different from any other medication. Indeed it might take some time and experimentation to find a suitable dosage that works for your loved one, but that doesn’t mean it is impossible.
The best thing about CBD dosage is that no matter how much CBD you ingest, there is no such thing as overdosing or side effects. However, we are not actually implying you to start with a whole bottle of tincture, but make sure you pay a maximum of attention to the dosage. Thus, as soon as you have found a dose or suitable product for your loved one, you can increase the dose of CBD until the alleviation is felt.

Given its low-risk status and numerous benefits in treating a wide range of complications associated with old age, there is an appropriate CBD regiment that can help our grandparents live a healthier and less complicated life in their golden years.

5/12/2020

When you retire, there are lots of big changes that occur financially. Your income levels change, your outgoings may change, and you might find that you have to be far more careful with money. Retirement is a time when you have more free time to enjoy life and explore the world. With this in mind, you may be considering investing in a new car so you can get out and about with ease.

If you do decide to get a new car, it is vital that you consider the cost implications before you make any commitment. There are lots of things you have to consider on top of the purchase price of the vehicle. Of course, you want to benefit from affordability, but you also need a vehicle that is safe and reliable, so you have to strike the balance between cost and quality. In this article, we will look at some of the cost considerations when buying a car.

Some Key Points to Consider

When you retire from work, you often have to make some changes to your finances. At the same time, you have more freedom to enjoy your life, which is why many decide to splash out on a new vehicle. It is important to ensure the cost of buying the car fits in with your retirement budget, and a car loan calculator will help you to work out affordability. Make sure you do not borrow more than you can afford to repay and remember that there are other costs associated with owning a car.

The other thing you need to remember is that the cost of insurance cover may be higher for older drivers, although your driving history and other circumstances can also impact the cost. It is important that you should around for insurance cover to find the best deal possible. Make sure you compare the policies and what you get for your money and choose a level of cover that is suited to your needs. By comparing plans and providers, you can help to keep premium levels down.

One other thing you need to do is consider the running costs for your vehicle, as these will need to come out of your regular income. Again, it is important to ensure you do some calculations and make sure you can afford the necessary payments. Your insurance premiums will have to come out of your monthly budget unless you pay for the cover in one go as an annual payment. You will also have to pay for gas to fill up your tank. In addition to this, you need to consider the cost of regular servicing for your vehicle as well as trying to put some money aside to pay for repairs.

Whether you purchase a new car or a used one, it is very important to take these costs into consideration. However, you must also ensure you do not focus on your purchasing decision solely on cost, as you need a vehicle that is safe and reliable.

Buying a franchise is a lot easier as compared to starting a new business because an established company has goodwill, clientele, suppliers, investors, and policies to effectively manage a business. You will know how to increase margin by buying and selling property at the accurate time. If you are risk-averse and don't understand how to cater to market trends, then you can even buy a few possessions and rent them out to earn fixed income monthly.

#5: Life Coaching/Consulting

When you have grown old or experienced many ups and downs in life for above 50 years, it is time for you to share your wisdom, knowledge, and skills with the young/new generation. If you love public or professional speaking, then it is ideal for earning money by setting home-based life coaching/consulting business. 3 Ways Seniors Can Benefit from Cannabis

3/23/2020

The negative stigmas of cannabis, also known as marijuana, are becoming a thing of the past as scientific studies reveal that it can actually benefit us in many ways. People are increasingly incorporating cannabis into their lifestyle, with many states even legalizing its use. However, one group of people significantly less likely to accept cannabis usage is senior citizens. After all, they grew up at a time when cannabis was illegal and surrounded by negative stigma. They may be skeptical of the developments of this product over the years. Ironically, they are the ones that can benefit the most from this natural plant. Here's how:

Pain Relief

Nearly all seniors suffer from some kind of pain, including pain resulting from inflammation, injury, nerve pain, chronic pain like arthritis, and pain as a result of other elderly health issues. Cannabis is said to contain hundreds of chemical compounds, including CBD and THC. THC is known to stimulate the brain's cannabinoid receptors, which in turn activates the brain's reward system and alleviates pain. CBD, on the other hand, interacts with the brain's pain receptors to cause anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects. Seniors shouldn't smoke marijuana, yet they can still achieve the same results through edibles and topical treatments infused with cannabis. That being said, it's essential to start small, and perhaps consult with a doctor to help agree on a dosage that suits your lifestyle and needs.

A Safer and Cheaper Alternative to Prescription Drugs

Older people take all kinds of prescription drugs daily. These drugs often have serious side effects that can be dangerous or, in some cases, even make the situation worse. Studies show that cannabis can help treat or alleviate many health conditions common in seniors, including glaucoma, cancer, diabetes, depression, anxiety, Alzheimer's disease, and arthritis, to name a few. It does so without all the severe side effects, addictive properties, or reaching toxic levels. This makes cannabis a safer alternative to many prescription drugs like opioids and antipsychotics. Additionally, with all the diseases it can help with, it's not hard to see why using cannabis is much more cost-efficient than using prescription drugs. Keep in mind that not all cannabis products are the same, which is why you need a trustworthy supplier that can suit your needs like the dispensaries in Vegas.

Helps with Sleep

The prevalence of sleep-related complications, such as insomnia, increases with age. In fact, nearly half of the elderly population struggle with falling and staying asleep throughout the night. Having a good night's sleep is essential for our physical health. It's also during sleep that our brains naturally regenerate while removing any toxic substances generated by the body. This helps with mental wellness and prevents a number of neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer's disease. Back to cannabis, studies have shown that it can help rectify this problem. It extends the time one spends in deep sleep while shorting the time they spend in light sleep, allowing your senior loved one to get the crucial benefits of a good night's sleep. Unlike sleeping pills, cannabis is not addictive and works every time.
Scientists have found several real benefits of cannabis use with other studies still underway. The scientific evidence is, however, not conclusive, which makes it extremely important for seniors to discuss the use of cannabis with their doctor.

Your living room is the place where you spent a large majority of your time, engrossed in relaxing activities, entertaining guests or spending quality time with your family. If you want to feel both comfortable and inspired in this space, it’s essential to decorate it with keen attention to details, making sure the design matches your needs for comfort but also stimulates your imagination.

Whether you prefer a traditional or modern, relaxed or luxurious style, there are many tips and tricks to help you create the wow factor in your living room, meaning that quality which you’ll make you, your family and your guests feel appreciation and delight. Let’s explore some ideas.

Add a Few High-Impact Elements

When it comes to design, big changes like buying new furniture or painting the walls in new colours represent a significant effort. Plus, you’d have to make many other more or less subtle changes to maintain harmony and balance. If you want fast improvement with significant results, a better approach is to focus on adding a few high-impact elements which, on their own, can create a distinctive ambience in your living room.

There’s nothing that says wow like hearing the restorative and calming sound of running water from a water fountain for inside. Not only that an indoor fountain has a great visual impact, but it also carries many benefits when it comes to creating a clean and healthy environment in a space where you spend a lot of time. Big sculptures or large decorative items don’t hold the same potential.

Create Strong Colour Contrasts

Another way to effectively transform your living room in a unique and original space with stunning visual impact is to create colour contrasts. By combining black and white with rich vibrant colours in your décor, you can highlight certain elements, add depth and vitality to your living room and create that feeling of lushness that increases the allure of the space.

Bring a rich colour palette into your living room by adding a colourful patterned rug or large-canvas art. Chosen well, these can become a focal point without being eye-straining. A warm coloured large-canvas on a  blank wall can draw immediate attention and make your living room feel like a sophisticated, yet still intimate space. A colourful rug, on the other hand, can give the space a sense of vitality.

Bring in Natural Light

No matter how much care you put into decoration and design, your living room will not have that wow factor without abundant natural light that can highlight colours and textures. Bringing sunshine into a room can completely change the ambience by creating a strong feeling of spaciousness. It’s well-documented that natural light also lifts people’s mood.

The benefits of natural light cannot be overestimated, but bringing sunlight in is not always easy. However, if you assess your living room situation, you’re bound to find at least some opportunities for improvement. This could mean simple things like removing heavy curtains, washing the windows, or adding large mirrors and shiny objects.

If you’re bored with your living room décor and want to massively improve your sense of the place, our tips and tricks will help you create a distinctive classy look that you can enjoy indefinitely.

Benefits of Screen Sharing for a  WorkPlace

3/21/2020

If you are a working professional, you must have gone through a situation in life where you must have wasted an entire day traveling for a meeting that hardly lasted for 15 minutes. For any business, time is valuable, and nobody wants to spend on travel and commute all the time. However, strong communication is an effective part of any business, and the need for frequent communication is imperative in today’s time. Thanks to screen share, companies can navigate meetings online without wasting time and money. Here are a few benefits of screen sharing in the workplace:

1.  Boost productivity in Meetings

Most traditional meetings require an extensive amount of traveling which is a daunting task. Furthermore, after long hours of traveling, employees are demotivated and not active during brainstorming sessions. This is true for large meetings where most people tend to run away by not saying a word throughout the session. So now, firms are holding conferences via video calling to curtail time and money. Screen sharing allows several participants to join a conversation regardless of the geography. So instead of asking employees to bring their journals, you can play a single file for everyone to see. This way, employees won't feel the pressure of carrying important documents and presentation files all the time.

2.  Improve Your Sales Pitch

Although they say that a picture speaks a thousand words, it is not true when you’re trying to sell a product. You can elaborate on the features of the product, but the suppliers won't be able to enjoy it unless they don’t have the product physically available in front of them. So whether you’re planning to render a new service or just trying to sell a new product, screen sharing enables you to show the product in high definition over video call to the suppliers. This way, they can easily understand the product you’re offering, and you stand a chance to improve your sales pitch. Many companies often start discussing ideas for a new product that helps. Video conferencing is the reason why so many firms are successful in today’s ti

3.  Promote Remote Working

Keep in mind, remote working is trending across the globe right now. You will be surprised to know more than 4 million UK citizens work from home right now. A survey claims, more than half of the British workforce will work from home by the end of 2020. So when business environments are changing rapidly, it is essential for businesses to adapt wisely. No one can deny that video conferencing and virtual places are both playing a large role in keeping employees connected regardless of their locations. online screen share is simple and only requires a stable internet connection. Remote working saves a lot of time, money, and energy. This way, employees can feel more motivated and stay focused at work within their comfort zone.

4.  Offers Efficient Technical Support

Even if your business doesn’t specialize in any kind of technical support, there are several organizations that will work on their IT departments. After all, it is imperative to help with the bizarre Blue Screen. So instead of wasting a lot of time making phone calls to technicians, employees can use screen share to connect with technicians and tell them about the issue. From there, they can get the best solution to the problem. However, if you don’t have a stable internet connection, it would be difficult for the technicians to give guidance. So it is better to have a kicking computer system with a strong net connection to make things work.

5.  Saves Money

Every business aims to earn a lot of money with the investment of little capital. Features such as this enable companies to not only save lots of money but also spend it elsewhere. It is essential to note that screen sharing saves costs of traveling, rental costs of vehicles, airline tickets, and so much more. Traditionally, companies have to spend thousands of dollars’ worth money on scheduling meetings in different parts of the globe. Now, they can easily save that money and dedicate funds to bifurcate or enhance the productivity of the business. Hadn't it been for screen share, this would have never been possible.

Reasons Why you Should Consider 401(k) for Retirement

Picture
If the company that you are applying for is offering a 401(k) plan and you are not participating in it, then please reconsider. There are several reasons why people aren't actively participating in this plan. While most of them are reasonable reasons, to say the least, there are also good reasons to enjoy your retirement life when you contribute to a 401(k) plan.

If you are keen on calculating it, consider this example.

Say you are continually receiving a salary of $50000. Contributing at least 10% of it to the plan will let your reap great benefits. Every year, your savings will receive an 8% return rate, and upon retirement, you will receive more or less $2 million in your 401(k) by the time you reach the age of 65.

However, this isn't the only reason you should participate in your 401(k) plan. There are other reasons as well, and here are some of them.

Deduction before tax

By the time you'll receive your monthly salary, the amount you choose to contribute to your plan will be deducted automatically, even before the deduction of your tax. This means that the portion of your salary that goes to your fees will be smaller, as well as your overall tax rate.

However, the amount that you can contribute to your 401(k) plan is limited, so please be mindful. Also, it is subject to change every year, so keep your eye on it.

Tax-deferred

The money that you contributed to your 401(k) plan is tax-deferred. This means that your taxable income throughout the years you worked for a company will be considerably lowered. This also means that your tax will be reduced as well, even if you moved on to a higher tax bracket.

However, once you withdraw the money that you contributed, it will be taxed as a regular income. This might not be a big problem, however, since you got a significant chance of being in a lower tax bracket when you retire.

High contribution limits

Even though the amount that you can contribute to your 401(k) plan yearly is limited, that doesn't mean that your contribution limit is low. If you are one of those people who are willing enough to contribute a large portion of their salary to their retirement plans, then consider having a 401(k) plan. In the year 2017, the maximum contribution limit is $18000 or $24000 if you are age 50 or above.

Matching contributions

Arguably one of the most significant benefits of enrolling in a 401(k) plan is to get matching contributions to your employer. Whether your employer matches your entire contribution or at least a percentage of it is a foolproof way to save more money in the future.

For example, if your employer chooses to match your contributions by 5%, that will also be added to your account, with the same 5% of your salary. You can also contribute more, but the same 5% will only be added to your account. It is free money from your employer.

Once an employer chooses to match your contribution, you will surely be guaranteed return of investment upon retirement. However, employers decide to do this to make sure you will stay in the company before you are vested.

Automatic savings

If you are one of those people who have hard time-saving money once you get your hands on them, then enrolling in a 401(k)plan will be beneficial. The savings will be automatically sent to your plan even before you get a chance to withdraw, avoiding a scenario where you will be tempted to spend them before you contribute to your plan.

The savings will grow year after year because of the interest, and the earlier you start with your plan, the bigger your savings will be in the future. Also, if you manage to move on to a higher pay grade in the future, it will be an excellent idea to make your contributions even bigger.

Emergency benefits

In a normal situation where you will have to loan a certain amount from your 401(k) plan before the age of 59.5, you are going to receive a 10% withdrawal penalty, adding to the costs from the income taxes. However, some employers nowadays let their employees borrow money from the plan with interest. You may also get your cash quickly in some cases.

However, as mentioned earlier, it is up to the discretion of the plan sponsors if they will allow the employee to take a loan, as well as the repayment terms. Also, the government will be taking charge of the maximum amount that you can loan as well as capping the repayment period for five years.

Takeaway

The 401(k)plan is an excellent way to have an easy-going retirement life in the future. If your employer chooses to offer them, it is an excellent decision to avail of the benefits that you can reap from this plan by contributing.

Also, if you are currently a part-timer, there is some good news for you as well. If the legislation passes Setting Every Community up for Retirement Enhancement (SECURE) Act of 2019, you will be able to contribute to a 401(k)plan as well.

If you are struggling to pay your bills, especially after the holidays, it’s time to buckle down and stay on a strict spending budget. If your spending got a bit out of hand during the holidays it can be shocking and overwhelming to open those January bills and credit card statements.

When your payment dates start to come due you might have to get creative and find ways to make a bit of extra money to help with bills. If you are stuck with a huge holiday bill, you may have to take action and get a loan on a car with a salvage title to make ends meet. If that’s not an option, here are a few other ways you can make money fast.

Garage Sale

If you take the time to sort through your home, you will likely find all kinds of items that you don’t use or no longer need. If you are looking to make some extra money to pay your bills, it might be time to have a garage sale.

Gather your items like older furniture, sports equipment, and even clothes, and make arrangements to have a garage sale. Until you start going through all of your belongings you might not know how much value you have just laying around. You can make a bundle in just one day to put towards your bills.

Do Tasks & Errands

People today are busy, and that leaves a lot of opportunities open to make a bit of extra cash. If you have the time and the ambition to bump up your spending limit, you can find simple tasks and errands to do for people online. Visit sites like Fivver and Craigslist to find small assignments to be completed for cash.

Title Loan

If you own a car, truck, boat, or RV, you can apply for a title loan and borrow against the value of your vehicle. These kinds of secured loans are perfect for when you need funds in a hurry. There is often no credit check, and the only risk that you take is if you are unable to honor your repayment schedule.

Freelancing

If you have a talent, why not schedule some side gigs to put some extra money in your wallet? Freelancer.com and Upwork are excellent sites for any freelancer to find work. Whether you are a writer, programmer, or photographer, you can find some extra work during the year to help you cover your bills.

Drive For Cash

When Nurture Isn’t Enough to Overturn Nature

3/1/2020

Life is chock full of opportunities to take action and make decisions about how to improve and maintain our health, or be a little naugty and do something that may set us back a step or two. Nurture is often a perfectly capable remedy for many illnesses, discomforts, conditions and symptoms, though it’s no match for the genetic challenges nature can bring about for some. It can happen to seemingly anyone, to wake up one morning and feel like something’s different, and that different feeling progresses a bit more in the coming months and years into something a lot more concerning than aches and pains. For as long as humans will be on this planet, we will continue to have things like disease and illness, conditions and symptoms. Some ebb and flow, others come and go, and some stay around for the duration of a lifespan, wreaking havoc on the person experiencing it. Health conditions like elephantitis or muscular dystrophy can unfortunately be quite painful, uncomfortable and debilitating. Advances in medical research and treatments lead experts closer towards the goal of developing or discovering a cure, though others are just treated as symptoms arise to keep the patient comfortable.

Science plays a huge factor into research, treatment and determining the best course of action for patients. As does the nurture piece of the puzzle. With the volume of administrative duties in the medical industry, as well as the volume of patients seen each day, it’s too easy to feel disconnected and lost in the shuffle when serious health challenges arise. It’s important to document symptoms, frequencies of symptoms, and the severity of symptoms to talk with your medical professional about during doctor or PA visits. Comprehensive and properly accurate diagnosis can make all of the difference of the following days, weeks, months and years in terms of how it’s processed emotionally, mentally and physically. Getting an accurate diagnosis can be clarifying, however scary at first. Nurture is all of the softer skills of how to treat yourself, or to treat loved ones if they are the one that’s been diagnosed with an illness or disease or condition. Gentle movements, eating organic produce, drinking herbal teas, taking nutritional supplements and maintaining a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle are some of the factors that can be very beneficial, though not part of the official prescribed course of action and treatment.

With the advancements in medical and scientific technology, it’s easier than ever to get a DNA test as a means of an early warning system of possible things to come later in life. Knowing more about genes and possibilities of illness and disease can be empowering for many, to take action and research on how best to navigate with certain markers to prevent such health issues, if at all possible. Lifestyle factors play into our overall health in a formative and foundational way, so when combined with the intelligence and information that DNA tests bring about, it proves quite promising for the future for many in terms of health outlooks

Small Investments That You Can Start Making Today

It's never too early to start investing in yourself and your future. Most people think that it isn't possible to really start to build a portfolio until they are more financially settled, but that's not always the case. When you think in terms of the long game, there are many advantages to starting to invest early.

You never know when the unexpected can happen, and having a nest egg to fall back on if you need it is a lifesaver at any age. If you are just starting out on your own, buying a new home, or starting a family, you are probably already thinking about your financial future.

You can start with little or no money as not all investments in your future will cost you cash out of pocket. Taking out a life insurance policy or setting up auto-savings on your account can help you put aside money a bit at a time for when you need it. Take a look at some of the ways that you can start to invest in yourself today.

Life Insurance

If you want to protect your home and your family, it might be time to take out an insurance policy. Make sure that your loved ones are financially supported if the worst happens.

When you choose a whole life policy, your monthly policy fees will accumulate into a cash value that you can borrow against one day or have diverted into an investment portfolio.

Education

There is no better investment in yourself than finishing or expanding your education. Increase your base salary by finally getting your degree or take further training that can advance you in your career.

Auto-Savings

Work with your back to come up with some easy and innovative ways to start building your savings account. You can set up a balance top-up on your debit card so that each time you make a purchase, you can "round up" the balance and have the excess transferred right into your account.

For example, if you make a purchase for $17.50, you can set it so that your card will be rounded up to $20.00, and the overage of $2.50 will be diverted directly into your savings. It's a great way to put a little aside in your savings while you are spending money.

401k

If your workplace provides a 401k program, you can start saving right away. Take advantage of the discounted savings and your company contributions to get a great jump on your retirement savings.

Mutual Funds

If you are new to the investing game and aren’t sure where to put your money, you might want to talk to your financial advisor about getting into mutual funds. These are specially constructed portfolios that have a variety of investments that you can fund as a single transaction.

The earlier you start actively investing in your future, the better off you will be if ever you run into financial problems. Having a nest egg to fall back on isn't just for people that are nearing their retirement age. When you start making savings a simple part of your budgeting routine, you can painlessly put money aside to invest where you like for your future.

How Age Discrimination Affects Victims

2/27/2020

Age discrimination is a severe phenomenon with multiple ramifications. While it’s a common occurrence in the workplace, where people’s professional abilities are misjudged due to their age, it remains as pervasive among retirees. One manifestation is ageism directed at elders in need of healthcare assistance.

How Age Discrimination Manifests

Age discrimination comes from a series of stereotypes and prejudices that people hold sometimes without realizing it, and which affects their behavior towards a person from a particular age group. While it can manifest implicitly or explicitly, age discrimination can happen anywhere, either in formal or informal relationships.

Why Age Discrimination Affects Healthcare Quality

Some of the most vulnerable victims of age discrimination or ageism are elders in need of healthcare. This manifests in multiple ways and affects their relationship with healthcare providers. For example, a physician might be inclined to say that a specific symptom is a sign of old age and dismiss a patient with a treatable condition on wrong assumptions. Depression and other conditions with non-physical symptoms often go undiagnosed among elders.
Another example is healthcare staff treating elderly patients without full control over their mental abilities with a lack of respect or consideration. A patient hearing a nurse making ageist jokes about him will feel deprived of his dignity. Some doctors show less patience with elders and are less responsive to their health complaints, which makes patients reluctant to communicate further.
Why is ageism so predominant in healthcare? You can read more in this article about ageism. The explanation resides in complex social and cognitive mechanisms through which people relate to each other. Stereotypes are a way for people to make the world more comprehensible by putting people into categories easy to define.
Although efficient in terms of simplifying the world, stereotypes are always harmful to the target person, who sees their entire personality reduced to a generalization. Just like all types of discrimination, age discrimination can have a harmful psychological and social impact on the victim.

How to Protect Victims of Ageism

The main way to combat ageism is to raise awareness about the issue among groups more likely to resort to stereotypes. It is possible that some healthcare professionals don’t identify their prejudices towards the elders as ageism or they are not aware of how their behaviour affects the patients. People in regular contact with an age group must be educated about the dangers of ageism.
Making assumptions about the skills and abilities of an older person based on their age is the same as judging them based on their sex or race. Elders have the human right to be treated as individuals with qualities and desires.
Age discrimination is yet another obstacle that affects people’s feelings of self-worth and dignity, along with their confidence and desire to integrate. Nowhere is this as severe as in healthcare, where age discrimination can have negative life-altering effects for the victims.

Know your financial terminology

2/19/2020

When it comes to figuring out your finances, there can be some pretty confusing terminology to wade through. At times, the terminology can make many people want to avoid thinking about money altogether. That's the worst stance to take unless you're a multimillionaire who spends around $50,000 a year. Here are some terms that you might want to learn.

Line of Credit vs. Credit Card

Both lines of credit and credit cards allow people to spend a bank's or another lender's money for a fee, or interest. Credit cards and lines of credit both provide people with a fixed limit that they can spend. Credit cards are unsecured, which means you have no collateral backing up the spending you put on the card. On the other hand, many lines of credit will have collateral like a car or a house tied to them. Credit cards tend to come with low minimum payments that will vary monthly based on the outstanding balance, but a line of credit will usually have a fixed monthly payment unless you borrow more money against it. Lines of credit are common for businesses while individuals will frequently use them for big purchases. A line of credit can be obtained in a couple of ways. For example, there are many companies who can offer an online credit line for assistance during personal unexpected emergencies, or you can apply for one through your bank or other financial institution.

Cost of Living vs. Discretionary Expenses

Your cost of living can vary depending upon how luxuriously you want to live. Driving a used Toyota Camry will cost less than driving a new Porsche. The cost of living can also vary based upon where you choose to live. The cost required to live in Manhattan, New York, will likely be quite a bit more than the cost of living in Manhattan, Kansas. The cost of living will include basically everything you spend in certain core budget areas to live comfortably. Included in the cost of living would be things like housing, clothing, food and transportation. Discretionary expenses are those expenses that are not necessary. For example, a meal at a restaurant or a movie ticket would be discretionary expenses. Most people will have less available for discretionary expenses than they do to take care of their cost of living. Saving some of your discretionary income for a rainy-day fund or for retirement is key to building wealth over time.

Fair Market Value vs. Market Value

The terms fair market value and market value sound very similar. However, there is a key difference. The market value of an item is basically the most probable price that a seller can expect to extract from a buyer at a given time. Pressure to buy or sell can affect the market price that might be agreed to by the parties. Fair market value is a more precise term. When related to property transfers, the fair market value is the amount that a willing buyer and a willing seller would agree to when they have a reasonable understanding of the facts regarding the property and while they are also under no pressure to buy or sell.
Understanding these terms and others tied to money will help you feel more comfortable when dealing with your finances. A greater understanding of personal finance will also prepare you to handle credit and property transfers. The more you know about money, the more likely you'll be to build wealth over time.
