Being in college can take a toll on your social life and also your health. If you are in your studies and want to focus on making good grades, a lot of time will probably be devoted to it. ​Avoid Caffeine and Sugary Drinks

​We know that coffee might be the one thing that may be keeping you going, however, it is not the healthiest for you. Drinking these sugary drinks and caffeine might keep you awake to do your schoolwork in the short run, but a crash and long-term negative health effects can come into play here.

​Avoid Tanning and Wear Ample amounts of Sunscreen

​We also know that spring break and getting tan is all the rage but save yourself the heartbreak later on in life. This doesn't mean that you should stay inside all your days and get low on your vitamin D levels. A healthy glow can make all the difference in the world, biologically and mentally, however, focus on that word in particular: healthy. You can still get that healthy glow with sunscreen and avoid skin cancer in the long run.

​Exercise Regularly

​You don't have to be a division one collegiate athlete or even join an intramural sports league, however, getting in exercise on a regular basis is a foundation for health that just cannot be avoided. Keeping your body in shape and healthy by walking or biking to your classes can be a simple addition to your schedule and an easy adjustment to your day-to-day life that can improve your overall health.

We know that being in college can be a stressful and busy adventure in your life. However, when done correctly, it can be the most memorable and enjoyable experience. Since it is easy to get caught up in your social life and schoolwork, you still have to remember to get the most out of your health too and keep yourself at your fittest.
